How old was Joshua when he died?

Joshua (whose name is similar to that of Jesus in meaning – “God is salvation”) was the successor to Moses. He led the people of Israel into the Promised Land of Canaan after they had spent 40 years wandering around in the wilderness.

At the age of one hundred and ten, shortly before his death, he gathered together all the important men of the tribes at a place called Shechem and urged them to fear and obey the the Lord their God.
